Strictly necessary technologies
These are required for core service functions and may be used without optional consent where the law allows.

- Fraud prevention, rate limiting, and account protection.

Analytics and performance
If enabled, analytics help MyLyft understand page performance, errors, conversion, ride request flow, and app reliability. MyLyft currently connects Google Analytics 4 through the website consent layer. Analytics scripts should not run until the user has accepted the analytics setting.
Google Consent Mode is set to denied by default for analytics and advertising storage, then updated only after the user makes a cookie choice.
Marketing and personalisation
If enabled, marketing cookies, pixels, or SDKs may help measure campaigns, avoid repeating messages, and personalise content. MyLyft currently connects Meta Pixel through the website consent layer. Marketing scripts should not run unless the user has accepted marketing cookies.
Third-party technologies
MyLyft may use third-party services such as Google Maps, Stripe, Firebase, analytics, crash reporting, SMS, email, and support tools. These providers may set or access storage when their services are used.
Managing choices
Users can control many cookies through browser settings. Mobile users can manage permissions and tracking choices in device settings.
MyLyft provides a cookie banner and preference centre so website users can accept, reject, or change non-essential cookie choices without losing access to core service functions.
